The alarm will not go off, however, please be aware if an intruder can easily enter your property through an open window this is NOT a case of burglary.

If the internal air circulation is not affected, this will not be necessary.
The box is easily switched on and off by pressing a button on the box whenever you leave the property.
You can choose a place convenient to your living environment, but it is best located central to the property. It is, however, advisable to ensure it is not easily seen.

There has to be at least a little air circulation between all rooms. A very small gap between the carpet and door would be sufficient. We recommend you always set the alarm where the highest risk of burglary is - in most properties we have found this to be the dining room.
Air conditioning and underfloor heating does not have an impact on the effectiveness of the alarm system.
As with a letter box this does not affect the system.
